About Mrs. Dannemann

My name is Annabel Dannemann and I am very excited to be teaching TK at La Canada Elementary.
I have been in education for the past 26 years.   I have taught Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Third grade.  I also had the opportunity to work outside the classroom as a Program Specialist.  As a Program Specialist, I oversaw the Transitional Kindergarten Program district-wide, facilitated professional development for teachers and administrators, and coached across all grade levels.  Before coming to LCUSD, I was an Assistant Principal in the Bellflower Unified School District.  I decided to return to the classroom and do what I love most, which is teaching our youngest learners, which I extremely enjoy.

My Family

When I am not at school, I am busy with my husband, son, and daughter. We enjoy hiking, going to the beach and traveling during our summer break.  We have a three year old pug, “Lulu” who we love to play with and take walks with.
